About the Role
We are seeking a Founder Associate to serve as the primary strategic and operational partner to the Founding Entrepreneur. This is a first-in-function role designed to exponentially increase the founder's bandwidth. This is not a typical administrative role; you will bridge the founder's business interests and personal operations. You are encouraged to use AI to automate yourself out of a job, freeing you to take on higher-level strategic challenges and fund operations as the partnership evolves.
Key responsibilities include:
- Personal & Business Finance Management: Execute high-trust tasks including managing external payments, auditing statements, and handling complex bank documentation with zero-error tolerance.
- Executive Presence & Communication: Take full ownership of the founder's calendar, meeting coordination, and professional LinkedIn presence. Act as the gatekeeper and facilitator for key stakeholders.
- AI & Workflow Automation: Proactively research and implement AI tools to automate routine workflows, ensuring the office operates at the cutting edge of efficiency.
- Physical Operations & Logistics: Manage Singapore-based logistics including real estate property management, document handling, and essential errands to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Bilingual Liaison: Facilitate communication across English and Mandarin environments, translating complex ideas and logistics into actionable results.
Requirements
Minimum/Core Requirements:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Mandarin and professional proficiency in English is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement to facilitate seamless internal communication with the founder and to engage effectively with Mandarin-language content and communities.
- Exceptional Ownership: A demonstrated track record of end-to-end accountability. You are someone who thrives when given full responsibility for a final result.
- Operational Precision: High attention to detail, particularly regarding financial administration and sensitive logistics.
- AI-Native Mindset: Deep interest in and proficiency with AI tools; you view manual, repetitive tasks as opportunities to be solved through technology.
- High Responsiveness: Ability to maintain a high level of responsiveness to time-sensitive communications, reflecting the fast-paced nature of the longevity venture space.
Preferred/Bonus Requirements:
- A background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Experience in high-stakes environments such as startups, venture capital, or professional services.
- A valid driving license is advantageous for property-related logistics.
