Description
Are you interested in uncovering how money moves, solving financial puzzles, and supporting the expert analysis used to settle major insurance and legal claims Our Forensic Accounting Internship, Singapore gives you handson experience working alongside experts who analyze financial data for litigation, insurance claims, and complex disputes.
This engagement will be circa 3 - 4 months commencing in (subject to recruitment/onboarding processes).
Key Responsibilities
Although the nature and purpose of your work will vary from case to case, you will typically assist with the analysis of financial and operating data to form an opinion as to the historic or likely future performance of a business.
Training will be provided, along with job-specific training and mentoring by experienced accounting professionals. Day to day responsibilities may include:
- Review financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Input, organize, and analyze financial and invoice data
- Conduct research to trace funds and identify assets
- Verify claim details using source documents
- Assist in the evaluation of insurance claims and economic damages
- Prepare summaries and reports based on financial findings
- Complete industry and company research
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Actively pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related subject(s)
- High level of numeracy, essential
- Competency in MS Excel and word
- Analytical and logical with good attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to work autonomously on tasks and lend support to the wider team as required
- Vietnamese, Tagalog, Thai, or Bahasa Indonesia language skill, beneficial
