Job Description

Job Summary

You will handle seafood processing tasks including filleting, descaling, cleaning, gutting, polishing, peeling, and cutting while maintaining high food quality and cleanliness standards in the workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Fillet, descale, clean, gut, polish, peel, and cut seafood accurately to prepare for further processing or sale
  • Maintain high standards in food preparation to ensure product quality and safety
  • Clean all workstations and equipment thoroughly at the end of each day to meet company hygiene standards
  • Sanitize materials and machinery parts after each shift to prevent contamination
  • Follow company cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors as needed
  • Work overtime when required to meet production demands
  • Handle physical loads of at least 20kg safely during daily tasks

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum PSLE qualification
  • Ability to handle seafood safely and efficiently
  • Experience working in a back kitchen or central kitchen environment

Other Information

  • Working Hours: 6 days (4:30am - 1:30pm)
  • Working Location: Boon Lay (Training Provided)
