Job Description

Food Manufacturing Supervisor oversees daily production, managing staff, ensuring quality/safety , meeting targets, training teams, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining records to meet output goals while coordinating with other teams like QA,Maintenance, and Procurement for smooth, compliant, and efficient operations requiring leadership, problem-solving, and knowledge of food hygiene & safety. Key requirements often include experience in food production, understanding of food safety standards, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Order materials, suppliers, and ingredients based on demand.
  • Supervise kitchen employee and organize food orders.
  • Oversee the food preparation and cooking process.
  • Ensures quality and presentation of every meal served to clients.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the kitchen work area, food preparation area, refrigerator, walk-in, freezer and pantry.
  • Production oversight: Manage daily operations, workflow, scheduling, and line coordination to meet output goals.
  • Staff Management: Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate production staff handle employee relations.
  • Process improvement: Implement continuous improvement (5S, Lean), troubleshoot problems, and enhance efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for production data, quality checks, inventory, and traceability.
  • Equipment: Oversee equipment checks, maintenance, and proper functioning.

Key Requirements

  • Previeous experience in a restaurant/central kitchen preferred
  • Willingness to work weekend and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Exisiting knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
  • Experience: Proven experience in food manufacturing, production supervision, or related roles.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate, train, and manage a team effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Skills to troubleshoot issues (downtime, quality, materials) and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication for coordinating with teams and reporting to management.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, workflows, and detailed records.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with production processes (cooking, packaging, etc.) and inventory management
