Job Description

Job Summary

Supervise daily food production operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, consistently, and efficiently. Lead production staff, enforce hygiene and food safety standards, monitor output and quality, and support continuous improvement in productivity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities (mixing, cooking, processing, packing, labeling) to meet production targets and deadlines.

  • Plan manpower deployment, assign tasks, and provide on-the-job training for production workers.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP principles, SSOP), and company SOPs.

  • Conduct in-process checks and final checks to ensure product quality, weight accuracy, sealing integrity, and correct labeling.

  • Monitor and record production data (output, wastage, downtime, temperature logs, cleaning records, traceability records).

  • Ensure equipment is operated properly and coordinate basic troubleshooting escalate faults and arrange maintenance when needed.

  • Enforce workplace safety rules and proper use of PPE report incidents and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage inventory usage for raw materials and packaging report shortages and reduce wastage.

  • Support audits and inspections (internal/external), prepare documents, and close out non-conformities with corrective actions.

  • Improve production efficiency through 5S, lean practices, and process improvements.
