Job Description:
The Food Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities in the food processing, food preparation and manufacturing line. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, monitoring quality, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate cooking production processes including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and packaging.
- Monitor production workflow to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with SFA (Singapore Food Agency) and SS 590 / HACCP food hygiene standards.
- Manage production staff scheduling, training, and performance to achieve daily targets.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Record production data such as quantities, quality control results, and material usage.
- Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of raw materials and delivery of finished goods.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Enforce workplace safety and cleanliness in accordance with company and MOM regulations.
