Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Manage daily production runs, ensuring that output targets are achieved while minimizing waste and maximizing machine utilization.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and train a team of production operators. Ensure the team follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular line checks to ensure products meet weight, taste, and packaging specifications. Work closely with the Quality Technician to address any batch deviations.
  • Workflow Coordination: Liaise with the Warehouse and Procurement teams to ensure sufficient raw materials are available and finished goods are transferred for delivery on time.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor the performance of food processing machinery (e.g., ovens, mixers, packing lines). Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards. Conduct daily hygiene inspections of the production floor.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, including output data, staff attendance, and CCP (Critical Control Point) monitoring records for audits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production process and propose improvements to increase efficiency or reduce costs.
