Flutter Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter for iOS and Android.
• Convert UI/UX concepts into reusable screens and components with Dart and Flutter widgets.
• Connect mobile features to backend systems via RESTful APIs and handle JSON data models.
• Strengthen app stability by improving responsiveness, load times, and runtime efficiency across devices.
• Produce maintainable, unit-test-friendly code and keep technical documentation current.
• Apply state management patterns using tools like Provider / Riverpod / Bloc / GetX.
• Partner with backend engineers to shape API contracts and ensure smooth integration.
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and fix defects and performance bottlenecks using debugging best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews) and contribute to code quality through peer reviews.
• Coordinate with QA to validate fixes and support reliable releases through the delivery cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of mobile application development experience, including strong hands-on delivery with Flutter.
• Proficiency in Dart, Flutter app lifecycle concepts, widget composition, and state management.
• Solid experience integrating REST APIs, working with JSON, third-party SDKs, and Git-based version control.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills comfortable working independently and in fast-paced teams.
• Remote role. Relocation to Singapore is not required.
