Flowable Modeller

We are looking for an experienced Flowable Product Expert / Modeller to join a wealth management banking environment and contribute from Day 1. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, modelling, configuring and optimising business processes using Flowable.

The ideal candidate will be a Flowable expert — either a modeller or an engineer with strong Flowable experience who is comfortable working hands-on with process modelling. We are particularly interested in candidates who can quickly understand existing processes, translate business requirements into Flowable models, and independently deliver production-ready solutions with minimal ramp-up time.

Experience in wealth management, private banking, financial services or other highly regulated banking environments would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, model and configure end-to-end business processes using Flowable.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective Flowable process models and workflows.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify process flows.
• Review existing Flowable processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, simplification and automation.
• Configure and maintain Flowable workflows, process definitions, business rules and related components.
• Troubleshoot process and workflow issues and work with engineering teams where deeper technical intervention is required.
• Ensure process models are scalable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture and development standards.
• Support testing, deployment and production implementation of Flowable processes.
• Document process flows, design decisions and relevant technical/functional specifications.
• Act as a Flowable Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide guidance to the wider team on Flowable capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate across technology and business teams to ensure that solutions meet both functional and technical requirements.

Essential

• Strong hands-on experience with Flowable and a deep understanding of the Flowable platform.
• Proven experience as a Flowable Modeller, Flowable Developer/Engineer, or Flowable Product Specialist.
• Strong experience in BPMN/process modelling and workflow design.
• Ability to independently take requirements and turn them into working Flowable process models.
• Comfortable working hands-on and being productive with minimal onboarding — Day 1 productivity is important for this role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into practical workflow solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within wealth management, private banking, banking or financial services.
• Previous experience working in regulated environments with complex operational processes.
• Strong Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management.
• Experience working directly with Business Analysts and business users to refine process requirements.
• Flowable engineering/development experience, including the ability to understand the underlying technical implementation.
• Experience with process optimisation, workflow automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
