The Floral Glasshouse & Retail Manager will be responsible for curating and overseeing all floral and retail experiences at the Glasshouse.
This is a hands-on leadership role part floral stylist, part operations coordinator and part retail curator. Perfect for someone who thrives in a creative yet structured environment.
You will:
. Handle B2B and B2C flower sales
. Design and refresh floral displays in the glass house
. Source flowers locally and internationally
. Manage a small, curated selection of retail merchandise
. Maintain Maison Garden's premium customer experience and brand aesthetic
What You'll Do
1. B2B & B2C Floral Sales
- Build and nurture relationships with florists, event planners and walk in customers.
- Manage wholesale orders and ensure reliable, high-quality supply for B2B clients.
- Guide retail walk-in customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a luxury boutique experience.
- Upsell floral products and seasonal offerings to drive sales.
2. Visual Merchandising & Market Display
- Design, update, and maintain the daily floral display layout, ensuring it is inspiring, cohesive, and aligned with Maison Garden's brand.
- Plan seasonal themes and special displays for key occasions (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.).
- Ensure Glasshouse floral displays are always well-stocked, visually appealing, and properly labeled.
3. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Source flowers and foliage locally and overseas, ensuring high quality and a unique selection.
- Negotiate with suppliers to balance quality and cost efficiency.
- Track inventory levels and forecast upcoming needs to minimize wastage.
- Coordinate logistics for deliveries and shipments.
4. Retail Merchandise Management
- Oversee a small curated range of retail products
- Maintain inventory levels, reorder as needed, and flag fast-moving or low-stock items.
- Create visually appealing retail displays that complement floral arrangements.
- Assist in product selection and sourcing to align with Maison Garden's lifestyle concept.
5. Collaboration & Brand Alignment
- Work closely with the marketing team to align displays with campaigns, workshops, and events.
- Share customer insights to inform product and marketing decisions.
- Support events team with floral and retail setups for corporate functions, workshops, and launches.
6. Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily Glasshouse operations, including opening/closing procedures and its maintenance.
- Prepare weekly reports covering:
- Floral stock and wastage
- Procurement needs
- Sales performance (floral & retail)
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and operational standards.
Who You Are
- Prior experience in luxury retail, floral boutiques, or lifestyle merchandising preferred.
- Strong eye for aesthetics, design, and detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage stock and procurement processes.
- Hands-on and proactive, not just managing, but actively involved on the floor.
