For supporting our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a
Commercial Manager (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for the following related activities inside the Commercial Department:
Controlling and accounting matters
- Reporting to Owners (Opex)
- Liaison with Accounting Department
- Charterer reimbursables
- Port agency disbursement accounts
- Liquidity management (Opex and Management Fees)
- Invoice management
- Claims handling
Support in administrative matters
- Filing of insurance documents
- Flag renewals
- Emissions compliance / ESG
Requirements
Key requirements for the position are:
- Bachelor university degree in shipping, economics, finance or Shipping Merchant (Schiffahrtskaufmann/-frau)
- Initial ship management or commercial shipping experience or nexus
- Fluent in English
