Fixed Income Trader

Job Description:

• Market making in SGS and related derivatives. Provide timely and competitive quotes on clients request.
• Manage market risk on fixed income trading positions, ensuring exposure is in accordance with risk limits and internal policies.
• Conduct research and analysis to support trading strategies and other investment decisions.
• Assist in daily reporting and other necessary administrative work

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in SGS trading
• Good knowledge of SGD fixed income markets, including hedging products.
• Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
• Excellent team player and work well with others
• Knowledge of and/or market-making experience in China Onshore fixed income (eg CGB, Policy Bank, Credit, derivatives) and/or FX trading would be a plus.

Other requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin so to communicate with Chinese speaking clients or HQ staff
