The UAT Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of User Acceptance Testing for AML projects and system implementations. This role ensures that systems meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and operational readiness before deployment. The role involves driving quality assurance, monitoring test execution, and supporting post-implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Design
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define UAT strategy aligned with overall test and project objectives.
- Ensure UAT coverage and traceability to functional specifications and business requirements.
- Design UAT scenarios and prepare detailed test cases for manual and automated testing.
- Validate UAT data setup and ensure completeness of testing.
- Develop a comprehensive UAT execution plan including timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Execution & Monitoring
- Oversee and track UAT execution according to project schedules.
- Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.
- Report UAT progress, results, and metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure UAT completion within agreed timelines while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Post-Implementation Support
- Provide support during live verification post-implementation.
- Address post go-live issues during the warranty period.
- Share lessons learned and testing inputs for project closure reviews.
Governance & Documentation
- Ensure all UAT artifacts, including test cases, scenarios, results, and issues, are documented and stored in the designated repository.
- Participate in discussions or meetings related to testing, quality assurance, and project progress.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in UAT for large-scale projects or system implementations.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SDLC, test methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Ability to design and document UAT scenarios and test cases (manual and automated).
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks is an advantage.
- Proficiency in test data setup, validation, and management.
- Familiarity with post-implementation verification and warranty support processes.
