Firmware Engineer Intern (PCB Design & ESP32 Development)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Firmware Engineering Associate to join our team on a project basis. This role offers hands-on experience with IoT devices, smart home applications, and embedded systems development. The right candidate will have the opportunity to transition into full-time or longer-term part-time employment based on performance and project needs.
Candidate will be working on market leading patented advance concepts for built construction / lighting / emergency alerts domains to impact lives positively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts for embedded systems and IoT devices
- Develop and optimize firmware for ESP32 and Arduino platforms
- Implement communication protocols including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and BLE Mesh
- Integrate and configure various sensors for smart home applications
- Code, test, and debug embedded systems applications
- Set up and troubleshoot hardware-software integration
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundation in firmware development and embedded systems programming
- Proficiency in PCB design tools and electronics prototyping
- Experience with ESP32 and Arduino platforms
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BLE Mesh)
- Familiarity with sensor integration and IoT applications
- Understanding of smart home ecosystems and applications
- Background in electronic engineering, computer engineering, or related field
- Self-driven with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Arrangement
- Schedule: 5.5 days per week, in-office
- Location: Singapore
- Compensation: SGD 1,200 - 1,250 per month
- Contract Type: Project-based with potential for conversion to full-time or longer-term part-time employment
