Ensure fire safety requirements stated under ERP are complied with
Supervise maintenance of all fire safety works
Ensure occupant load does not exceed capacity prescribed under the Fire Code
Conduct daily checks & remove any fire hazard
Prepare and execute the ERP and distribute the ERP to the occupants of the premises
Conduct fire drills for the occupants at least twice annually
Ensure that all occupants are familiar with the means of escape
Prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises
Train, co-ordinate and supervise the CERT for the premises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
Train the occupants in first aid, firefighting and evacuation
Co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in fire fighting and in evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
Supervise the operation of the FCC in the event of fire or other related emergencies
Conduct 2 table-top exercises annually
Prepare and implement the Arson Prevention Plan (APP)
Notify the Commissioner immediately upon the occurrence of any fire incident in the premises
Organise campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities
Carry out such other duties as the Commissioner may require
Requirement:
Hold at least a Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering or related discipline
Registered Fire Safety Manager
Possess relevant experience to inspect and approve hot work, welding, cutting and other operations involving the use of heat and sparks
Well versed with the all relevant Manual, SOP, Plans, etc upon onboard
Physically fit to respond to fire incident or any emergency
