Fircosoft WUM/SOC Configuration Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Fircosoft / LNRS WUM-SOC Configuration Specialist with proven experience configuring Watchlist Utility Manager (WUM) and Sanctions Output Generator (SOC). The role focuses on sanctions list management, product configuration, integration design, and implementation support across banking environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with Compliance, IT, LNRS, integration teams, and country stakeholders to manage the end-to-end sanctions list lifecycle—from watchlist ingestion and consolidation through SOC output generation and deployment handoff.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Fircosoft / LNRS WUM and SOC, including watchlist files, field mappings, validation rules, approval workflows, and output generation.
• Manage the end-to-end sanctions list management lifecycle, including list ingestion, consolidation, governance, SOC file generation, and deployment handoff.
• Translate business and compliance requirements into WUM/SOC configuration and integration designs for downstream screening systems.
• Define target file structures, mapping logic, identifiers, mandatory fields, encoding standards, validation rules, and country/list ownership rules.
• Support integrations with non-Firco screening systems using shared folders, MFT/RIH, API/SFTP, bespoke middleware components, or RPA-based processes.
• Design and execute SIT/UAT test scenarios, analyze defects, manage exceptions, and support operational readiness and handover activities.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, LNRS, and regional stakeholders to resolve fit-gap issues and support implementation across multiple countries.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fircosoft / LNRS sanctions screening or watchlist management environments.
• Proven hands-on experience configuring WUM and SOC, including watchlist setup, mappings, validation rules, approval workflows, and output generation.
• Strong understanding of sanctions list management processes, watchlist governance, and compliance-related screening operations.
• Experience designing file-based integrations and downstream data exchanges using shared folders, MFT/RIH, API/SFTP, or custom integration components.
• Ability to define file formats, field mappings, validation logic, exception handling, and deployment processes for downstream systems.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across Compliance, Technology, and regional business teams.
• Experience in APAC banking environments and multi-country implementation or rollout projects is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Firco Continuity or other LNRS/Fircosoft sanctions screening products is an advantage.
