FINANCIAL RISK ANALYST

POSITION SUMMARY

The main roles of the Financial Risk Analyst/Risk Management/Hedge Advisory (RM) Snr Analyst will be to:

.Assist, support and run risk management client assignments.

.Work with the RM team to develop relationships with both existing and potential clients

.Take an active role in marketing PMC services to financial sponsors, portfolio companies & corporates

.Must have strong level of quantitative / modelling skillsets

.Strong analytical approach combined with an ability to convey their intellect in non-technical terms is key

.Develop bespoke analytical tools for multi assets, RM assignments,

.Assist and support consultants in the delivery of multi asset assignments.

.Work with PMCA developers to integrate various bespoke analytical tools into PMCA for standardised deliveries.

.Work with RM team to enhance our capabilities for fund level FX hedging

.Take an active role in developing and maintaining PMC's analytics and client deliverables.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

.Model clients foreign exchange , interest rates and inflation, exposures

.Produce client deliverables developing hedging strategies and summary of analysis

.Work closely with Asia team on the analysis of PMC client base (Private Equity firms, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Sovereign Wealth Funds etc.) and develop strategy to grow market share and share of wallet

.Track opportunities, client activity, assist in producing presentations and in CRM reporting

.Support PMC teams globally

EXPERIENCE

. Keen interest in financial markets and a self-motivated learner

. Good understanding of financial market instruments and previous Markets or Corporate Treasury experience

. Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL and VBA mastery of SQL and Python a plus

. Quantitative background preferred in financial mathematics, economics or statistics

. Good communicator in English and other languages a bonus

. Team player, who is willing to contribute to a growing business
