Role Description The Financial Planning Consultant is a full-time role based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. In this position, the consultant will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situation, and develop tailored plans covering areas such as protection, wealth accumulation, retirement, and legacy planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial needs analysis, recommending suitable products from a wide range of solutions, preparing proposals and reports, and reviewing plans regularly to ensure they remain aligned with clients objectives. The role involves staying informed about market developments and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to deliver a high standard of client service. The consultant is expected to build long-term relationships, provide ongoing education to clients, and uphold finexis philosophy of impacting lives beyond finance.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Financial Services, with the ability to design comprehensive, client-centric solutions.
• Experience or knowledge in Retirement Planning, including strategies for income sustainability and wealth preservation.
• Proficiency in Investments and Finance, with the ability to explain risks, returns, and portfolio diversification in clear, accessible terms.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field) and industry certifications such as CFP, ChFC, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with both independent and team-based responsibilities.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore and willingness to operate in a hybrid work model combining office-based and remote work.
