Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of reporting timelines and templates: Design and maintain internal reporting timelines, manage the end to end processes, templates and guidance (i.e. forecast instructions and monthly instructions) to meet reporting requirements.
- Financial close and consolidation
- Financial reporting: Responsible for preparation of the month end, forecast and budget OPR packs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information.
- Financial analysis and insight: Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis delivering insights in the form of so what, now what to inform decision making and strategic planning.
- Business partnering: Partner closely with Vertical Finance, Commercial Finance and Group Finance teams.
- Process improvement: Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and data quality.
- Leadership and collaboration: Lead and deliver cross-verticals projects and problem-solving initiatives in line with business requirements
Critical Competencies for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance/ACCA qualified
- Hands on experience of 5-7 years in financial planning & analysis and reporting, including exposure on budgeting and long-term business forecasting with MNC
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Proactive problem solver, curiosity and ability to follow issues through to conclusion.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Capable of working both independently and with a team.
- Effective communication skills with experience interacting with Global stakeholders.
- Ideally experience with Cognos Controller or similar consolidation applications.
