Financial Operations Specialist (Digital Assets)
We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team. This role sits at the intersection of traditional finance and digital innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Digital Asset Operations: Apply in-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain transactions to daily financial operations.
- Reconciliation & Settlement: Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation of payments across various channels, including crypto gateways, banking partners, and internal wallets.
- Discrepancy Management: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between blockchain records, bank statements, and internal system databases to ensure data integrity.
- Cost & Expense Analysis: Manage payment activities, track operational expenses, and conduct detailed cost analyses to support budgeting and efficiency initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports regarding transaction flows, cost structures, and financial performance to key stakeholders.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Support the Finance leadership with special projects related to process improvement and financial systems integration.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, operations, or accounting, with prior demonstrable experience handling cryptocurrency or digital asset transactions.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong grasp of blockchain technology and the digital asset ecosystem.
- Understanding of financial derivatives and basic foreign exchange market mechanics.
- Proficiency in payment reconciliation processes.
- Core Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to adapt quickly to new financial products or regulatory changes.
- Language: Proficiency in English and either Cantonese or Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to liaise with internal teams and external partners effectively.
