About TegroTegro is a Singapore-headquartered finance and commercial advisory firm. We work embedded with capital-intensive energy and infrastructure companies, running finance functions alongside their leadership: capital raising, investment cases, project development, pricing and management reporting.
Our current focus is next-generation nuclear and its adjacent industries: data centres, logistics and energy grids. Most of our work is in the USA and Asia Pacific.
The RoleThis is a modelling-first role. Around 80% of your time goes into building, extending and maintaining Excel financial models. The rest goes into turning that analysis into investment materials. You will work directly with the partners as part of our embedded finance team, supporting direct client needs from day 1.
Our models are the reference point for client pricing, investor cases and executive reporting, so structure and accuracy matter. If you want a crash course in financial modelling across project, corporate and industrial economics, this is it. The right candidate will show strong core skills and an ambition to step up into commercial, investment or advisory leadership over time.
What You'll Do- Financial Modelling (80%)
- Build, update and extend models: project development, corporate and valuation, capital raising, manufacturing plant and CapEx-heavy facilities, pricing calculators, and budget-to-actual tracking.
- Model project finance structures: debt sizing, CFADS, DSCR, cash flow waterfalls, interest during construction, and project and equity returns.
- Run scenarios and sensitivities, and answer investor and diligence questions from the model.
- Own the model library: consistent structure, documented assumptions, version control and error checks.
- Investment and Capital Raising Support (20%)
- Prepare investor decks, investment papers and dataroom content.
- Respond to due diligence requests and support live capital raises.
- Research markets and industries to support model assumptions.
- A student, graduate or early career analyst in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or similar. Experience in advisory, transaction services, valuation, banking, project finance or investment is valuable.
- Strong in Excel: clean formatting conventions, good formula hygiene, keyboard-driven, and able to build a three-statement or project model from a blank sheet.
- Solid grounding in corporate finance and accounting: the three statements, DCF, working capital, CapEx and depreciation, IRR and NPV.
- Working knowledge of project finance, or clear evidence that you learn fast.
- Precise: you check your own work and catch errors before they reach a client.
- Clear in writing and in person, and able to explain what a model says to people outside finance.
- Ambitious to build a career as a financial analyst, adviser, CFO or investor.
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster, but not beholden to them. If you can't model without AI this isn't the role for you.
- Real work from week one. Your models go straight to client executives and investors.
- Breadth. Project, corporate, manufacturing and capital raising models in one role, in industries that will define the coming decades.
- Direct access. You join a small, flat team and work alongside experienced CFO, capital markets and infrastructure professionals.
- Room to grow. As you prove yourself, your responsibility grows into client work, transactions and business development.
