Howden is a specialist commercial insurance broker. Its regional footprint covers Singapore (regional headquarters), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Account Retention/Renewal
• Account Servicing
• Conduct needs assessments of clients and provide insurance solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore
• Assist the claims team, in the event of claims by clients under your care
• Identify cross-selling opportunities with other Departments.
• Promote good team spirit and co-operation.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to build relationship across all levels
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Financial Lines insurance
• Having experience in Cyber insurance will be advantageous
• A recognized degree in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications.
• Good communication, sales and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), with knowledge of Chinese a plus
