Finance Director (Web3)

About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Web3 professional to lead and optimize treasury and financial operations. This role focuses on managing both digital assets and fiat flows, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and security across all treasury-related activities. The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, strong operational judgment, and hands-on Web3 experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily treasury operations involving digital assets and fiat currencies, including liquidity management, fund flows, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Develop and implement treasury and financial control frameworks tailored to Web3 environments.
- Monitor wallet activities, manage fund transfers, and ensure timely execution of on-chain and off-chain transactions.
- Partner with product, operations, legal/compliance, and finance teams to support business expansion and new infrastructure setup.
- Optimize treasury processes, automate workflows, and enhance visibility across asset movements.
- Maintain relationships with custodians, exchanges, banking partners, and payment providers.
- Provide strategic recommendations on asset allocation, liquidity planning, and treasury structure.
- Ensure adherence to Singapore's regulatory landscape for digital assets and financial operations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience, with mandatory experience in the Web3 / crypto / digital assets industry.
- Strong understanding of digital asset and fiat flows, including wallets, exchanges, settlement processes, and risk controls.
- Solid knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, token mechanics, custody solutions, and crypto infrastructure.
- Background in treasury, finance operations, or digital asset operations preferred.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive ownership mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience scaling treasury or finance functions for Web3 startups, exchanges, or payments companies.
- Familiarity with financial operations in Singapore and broader APAC markets.
