Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to architect and oversee the financial infrastructure for our burgeoning international operations. This role is pivotal in supporting our aggressive overseas expansion into new markets such as Brazil, the Middle East, and Europe. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to the business, ensuring robust financial governance, seamless new market entry, and absolute compliance in diverse regulatory environments. Key Responsibilities:
- International Business Enablement: Partner with business leaders to facilitate the setup and registration of new legal entities in strategic expansion regions, including but not limited to Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for local government, banking, tax, and foreign exchange authorities. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate financial, tax, and regulatory risks to ensure full compliance in all operational territories.
- Financial Architecture: Design, implement, and standardize local financial management systems and processes. Collaborate with and guide overseas finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient operations, and strong internal controls.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Provide expert financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making for global business development and growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a substantial portion spent in a multinational corporation or a high-growth global environment.
- Proven, hands-on experience in supporting international business expansion, including entity setup and navigating the financial complexities of new markets.
- Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language for cross-border communication and reporting.
