Financial Controller - Regional Reporting & Strategic Planning

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, longrange planning, and monthly forecasting processes.
• Provide financial insights, scenario modelling, and variance analysis to support decisions.
• Partner with leaders to drive cost efficiency, revenue growth, and identify risks/opportunities.
• Oversee monthend closing and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies; strengthen controls and audit readiness.
• Manage balance sheet integrity, cash flow, and working capital.
• Support business units with financial modelling, pricing, and investment evaluation.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and M&A teams, and lead strategic performance discussions.
• Conduct financial scenario planning for expansion, product launches, or restructuring.
• Ensure statutory reporting, tax filing, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities (e.g., MAS, IRAS, ACRA).
• Oversee risk management and ensure processes meet audit standards.
• Lead, develop, and coach the finance team; promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, and process optimization.
• Oversee and enhance financial systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and collaborate on upgrades and harmonization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive finance & accounting experience (6 years in Big 4/ Big 4 + Commercial).
• Regional experience is an advantage.
• Experience in FP&A, controllership, and business partnering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, tax rules, and reporting standards.
• Prior experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience in MNC or fast-paced environment is an advantage.
• Good command in both spoken and written Chinese & English, including Putonghua.
