We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to lead and oversee the financial infrastructure for growing international operations. This role is central to supporting expansion into new markets. The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner, ensuring robust financial governance, smooth market entry, and compliance across multiple regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business leaders to establish and register new legal entities in key global markets, ensuring smooth market entry and operational readiness.
Act as the main point of contact with government, banking, tax, and foreign exchange authorities. Proactively assess, mitigate, and manage financial, regulatory, and tax risks across international operations.
Develop and implement standardized financial systems, processes, and controls. Provide guidance to overseas finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and strong governance.
Provide senior management with actionable financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive global business growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field a Master's degree or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
Minimum 8 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within multinational corporations or high-growth international environments.
Proven, hands-on experience supporting international business expansion, including entity setup and navigating financial complexities of new markets.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin, to support regular communications with counterparts at the China headquarters.
