Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller to join our finance team in Singapore. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Monitor budgets, financial performance, and KPIs
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and cost-control initiatives
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management
- Mentor and manage finance team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 58 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax compliance in Singapore
- Proficiency in ERP and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
