To excel as Deputy Group Financial Controller - Finance Transformation you will bring substantial experience in driving large-scale change programmes within finance functions, ideally gained from roles where you have implemented new ERP systems or led process optimisation projects. A deep understanding of international accounting standards combined with practical experience in risk management enables you to navigate regulatory challenges confidently.
- Chartered or Certified Accountant / CPA qualification is highly desirable; candidates with Big 4 experience are preferred but not essential.
- Proven track record in leading finance business transformation initiatives within large or complex organisations, ideally involving ERP system implementations..
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end finance processes including order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, and global chart of accounts setup.
- Advanced skills in Excel (including macros) and PowerPoint for financial analysis, modelling, and presentation purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to document policies and procedures clearly while facilitating process standardisation across diverse teams.
- Experience in managing financial risk through robust assessment techniques that safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling you to convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues creatively while developing practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting methodologies, forecasting techniques, tax regulations, transfer pricing requirements, and compliance standards relevant to multinational environments.
- Familiarity with financial systems design or process reengineering within services, logistics or agency businesses is advantageous but not mandatory.
