Financial Controller

We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own all controls and reporting across the APAC region of a fast paced and thriving, international consulting firm.

This is a highly visible role and a key lead for the region, taking ownership of all accounting, controllership and compliance.

We're looking for a strong leader, someone with strong balance sheet ownership experience and a keen interest in developing a high performing team, processes and controls.

Financial Controller – The Role:

• Oversee all elements of finance and reporting across APAC
• Lead, guide, and develop a team spread across the region
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
• Deliver the annual statutory accounts for group (in IFRS) and a successful audit
• Manage subsidiary reporting, developing process/quality improvements to the reporting packs.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture in respect of the control environment and disseminate best practice across the region. Ensure group corporate governance requirements are met
• Act as a truster partner to SLT across the region
• Collaborate with relevant tax, legal and HR teams and external advisors to ensure financial compliance

Financial Controller - Requirements:

• Must be qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent
• Must have experience working for complex, international businesses
• Preferably experienced in overseeing controls from a regional perspective
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent leader, mentor and communicator

Financial Controller - Package

• Salary $140- 180k annually depending on experience
• Discretionary bonus
