Job Description:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate MAS regulatory reporting (e.g., MAS 610, MAS 649, Basel III requirements).
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, capital adequacy, and liquidity positions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and rolling forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
- Support business units with financial modelling and scenario planning.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with all MAS regulations and internal risk policies.
- Coordinate with internal audit and risk teams to implement recommendations and remedial actions.
Strategic Support
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic business initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and trends.
- Participate in ALCO (Asset & Liability Committee) and other financial governance forums.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance with relevant professional certification such as CPA.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 3 years of experience as a financial controller.
- Strong expertise in Financial reporting, Regulatory reporting, Tax and Audit matters.
