Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech Vishay Intertechnology Asia Pte Ltd is currently seeking applicants for a Financial Analyst. Responsible for reviewing the actual operating results of our entities in Southeast Asia and advise appropriate accounting standards and treatments in compliance with the company policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for gathering historical data, examining financial models, and analyzing the past financial performance against the current economic conditions. By identifying the relevant trends and making projections, you will then generate valuable insights and recommendations on how to optimize Vishay's operations.

The office is located at 37A Tampines Street 92, Singapore 528886.

What you will be doing:

• Partnering with finance team from Asia locations. Perform review of the actual operating results, identify issues to clarify with site finance team and ensure that issues pending clarifications are promptly followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
• Perform review of forecast and budget submission from Asia locations and ensure that submission is aligned with corporate guidelines
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with specified policies and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring tax compliance in Asia locations
• Provide advisory to the Asia locations on appropriate accounting standards and financial reporting treatment prescribed by the Controllers Manual
• Assist in handling ad hoc requests from Corporate which include providing guidance to locations

What will you bring along:

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of audit experience in public accounting firm and at least 1 year of commercial experience is preferred
• Those without audit experience but with at least 4 5 years experience in management reporting and strong accounting knowledge will be considered too.
• Good communication skills. Able to communicate and write in fluent English, and converse in Mandarin
• Meticulous with an eye for detail, works well under strict timelines and investigative in nature.
• This is a fix term role for 1 year tend to get permanent based on candidate performance.
