The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with our client, a leading global technology company, to hire a Financial Analyst based in Singapore.
- This role supports the Network Investment team, which is responsible for managing and operating backbone network infrastructure across the APAC region. The role works closely with Finance, Billing, Accounting, Network Engineering teams, and external suppliers to ensure accurate execution of purchase, invoicing, and payment processes, while driving improvements across source-to-pay workflows.
- This position will start as a 12-month contractual assignment.
- Some flexibility to communicate with finance teams in other time zones, including the US West Coast, is required.
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in payment processing, invoicing, or finance operations, with hands-on exposure to PR, PO, and commercial contract concepts
- Experience working in a multinational or global organization (with telco industry exposure a huge plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage daily operational tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and resolve issues
- Solid understanding of accounting and economic principles, financial reporting, and controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with financial or ERP systems
- Program or project management experience is an advantage
Job Description
As part of the Network Investment Finance support function, you will partner closely with Finance, Billing, Accounting, and Network teams to manage day-to-day financial execution and ensure smooth end-to-end source-to-pay operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Network Investment team with Purchase Requests (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and other execution activities
- Manage invoice tracking, payment status, and internal approval workflows
- Identify and resolve invoice and payment issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Maintain and clean up financial, inventory, and contract data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Partner with Finance, Billing, and Accounting teams to streamline and improve source-to-pay processes
- Analyze recurring invoice and payment issues, identify root causes, and implement process improvement solutions
- Support reporting, documentation, and operational finance activities as required
