Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to functional and regional leaders, providing financial insight and analytical support to drive decisionmaking and operational performance.

This role leads the development, refinement, and communication of the company's financial forecastsincluding revenue, expense, and cash flow projectionsby synthesizing business trends, operational drivers, and market dynamics.

The analyst collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams to evaluate business initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver clear, datadriven recommendations that support both shortterm priorities and longterm strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with corporate and external clients
  • Lead financial forecasting, scenario planning and the development of business cases to support strategic initiatives and commercial decisions
  • Act as a key business partner to internal stakeholders and external customers, supporting financial discussions, performance reviews and commercial negotiations
  • Monitor operational costs and spending, perform variance analysis and recommend cost control actions.
  • Support pricing reviews for new projects, new business RFPs and contract renewals
  • Manage and maintain the billing database to ensure accuracy and timely updates
  • Review process and control POs ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and timely distribution of internal and customer-facing financial reports
  • Liaise with customs, as well as local and US based finance teams to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting, financial analysis and insights to senior management to support decision making.
  • Lead or support initiatives to streamline, automate and enhance financial and operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

  • This position requires min 5 years of relevant experience in automating finance tasks
  • Experience in the MNC and logistics industry is an advantage

Education:

  • Min Diploma in Accounting or finance

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high level accuracy in financial data preparation and entry.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and financial software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet/analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical and problemsolving mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
