Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and maintain reliable financial and operational datasets and models.
• Develop / prepare dashboards (i.e. Power BI / Excel /AI software e.g. Co-pilot) and other routine/ad-hoc reports for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop financial models to support business cases, strategic initiatives, investment decisions and long-term financial planning.
• Translate financial performance, operation data, key trends and performance indicators (KPIs) analysis to provide accurate, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Perform scenario, sensitivity and what-if analyses to assess financial implications and alternative courses of action.

Business Partnering and Budgeting

• Partner stakeholders to understand business needs and evaluate financial implications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial advice and support planning and resource allocation decisions.
• Develop budgets, budget models, rolling forecasts and mid-term financial projections.
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and underlying drivers.

Data, Process Improvement and Digitalisation

• Streamline and automate finance processes, financial reporting and analytical processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support digitalisation initiatives, automation projects, and system enhancements.
• Leverage data analytics, automation and AI tools to strengthen Finance's reporting and decision-support capabilities.

Other Duties

• Undertake other finance-related responsibilities and projects as required.

Job Holder Requirements:

Qualification:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data/Business Analytics
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Experience: 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modelling and data analytics.

Knowledge & Skills and Attributes:

• Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Power BI and Excel, and knowledge of Power Query, Microsoft Co-pilot, Python or other analytics tools would be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Meticulous with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Good communication and presentation skills.
