Summary – Basic Function Of The Role
The Financial Analyst – FP&A is a key business partner responsible for delivering financial insights that support strategic and operational decision‑making across the organization. This role focuses on analyzing financial performance, developing forecasts, supporting the annual budgeting process, and partnering with both department leaders and global functional teams. The individual will report to the Finance leadership team within FP&A and collaborate closely with peers across business units, Corporate Accounting, and other cross‑functional teams.
This person is responsible for developing financial plans and models, analyzing monthly results, preparing executive‑ready reporting, and providing meaningful recommendations to drive improved performance. The role also plays a critical part in consolidating financial forecasts at the department and global levels and contributing to enterprise‑wide planning cycles.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, self‑motivated, and skilled at building strong relationships across the business. This individual must be able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and translate complex financial information into clear insights. Strong business acumen, financial modeling capability, and the ability to influence decision‑making are essential.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of executive‑ready reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and departmental/regional variance analytics.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and key business assumptions.
- Partner with business leaders and cross‑functional teams to provide financial support for new product development, including building financial models, evaluating business cases, and analyzing profitability and ROI.
- Track performance of key strategic initiatives, providing updates on financial impacts, progress versus plan, and recommending actions to improve outcomes.
- Prepare profitability reporting and analytics, including product, customer, and channel performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for margin improvement.
- Support monthly and quarterly business review meetings, preparing materials, synthesizing insights, and presenting financial updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure accurate financial inputs, alignment on assumptions, and visibility into operational drivers.
- Enhance financial models, reporting tools, and processes, identifying opportunities for automation, consistency, and improved decision support.
- Participate in ad‑hoc analysis and cross‑functional projects, providing data‑driven insight for enterprise‑level decisions and long‑term planning.

Education And Experience
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 2-4 years experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance or Accounting

Physical Demands
Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time.
Work Environment
Primary work environment is temperature controlled office setting but may also be visiting different manufacturing facilities where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to low levels of noise in an office.
