Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Supports the Long Range Business Planning (LRBP) for the Business Unit or Service Unit.
Develops the LRBP from the current forecast based on reviews with the Business Leader,
Profit and Loss Managers, and/or Service Unit Managers given their strategic input and
forecast assumptions.
Identifies and completes Opportunity and Risk (O&R) submissions to meet Business/Finance
deadlines and communicates final results.
Reviews and analyzes accounting source documents to ensure that transactions are correctly
classified according to company practices and accounting principles, theories, concepts and
regulatory requirements.
Reviews, analyzes, and maintains revenue/cost performance measurement baselines and
variance analysis. Understands and provides transparency into the revenue and expenses in
their responsible Business Units.
Leads the development of strategic plans and business cases. Makes recommendations on
funding and cost management based on the business case parameters.
Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior
internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between
organizations.
Participates in analyst team meetings, month end accounting close analysis, Business
Performance Reviews (BPR), O&R reviews, and other related activities to provide financial
perspective on issues. Works with accounting to manage accruals and other journal entries.
Attains proficiency in Excel-based TM1 reporting tool for forecasting and reporting of financial
information.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field of study and 7-10
years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of the principles of financial analysis and their applicability to budgeting
and reporting
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint software for analysis and presentation of
information
Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute assignments in a manner
that accomplishes the objectives and meets the stated deadlines.
Experience in working successfully with others in a collaborative manner to achieve team
objectives.
Fluent in English.
