Job Description

Our client, a leading US manufacturing MNC, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. The role covers full-spectrum accounting, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting both Singapore and regional finance operations.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing activities.
Prepare accurate financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST filings, tax computations, and regulatory reporting.
Manage government grant applications, tracking, and related reporting requirements.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders for audit and reporting purposes.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of finance operations.

Role requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CA/CPA qualification preferred.
3-5 years of relevant experience handling a full set of accounts, ideally within an MNC environment.
Strong knowledge of GST, tax compliance, and financial reporting processes.
Familiarity with US GAAP and SFRS will be advantageous.
