Finance Manager

We're working on a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager hire for a leading venture capital platform as they continue to scale their funds and broader business.

You'll lead end-to-end finance operations across multiple entities, manage key external providers (fund administrators, auditors, tax, and corporate secretarial), and oversee a lean internal team spanning fund accounting and operational finance. It's a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, low-ego environment where you can own outcomes, improve how things are done, and build scalable processes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting across venture funds and related entities
• Manage external providers (fund admins, auditors, tax, corporate secretarial)
• Support audits, valuations, and investor reporting cycles
• Lead management company finance (AP/AR, payroll, expenses, cash flow)
• Deliver monthly/quarterly reporting and insights to leadership
• Ensure regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements are met
• Manage and develop a small team (fund accounting + operational finance)
• Drive process improvements, including leveraging AI and automation

Key skills and attributes required:

• 5–8+ years experience in finance, accounting, or fund management
• Background in VC, private equity, fund admin, or professional services
• Experience managing external providers across multiple entities/jurisdictions
• CPA / CA / ACCA (or working towards)
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, ownership mindset
• Tech-enabled, with interest in using AI and automation to improve efficiency
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A pragmatic, hands-on, and low ego approach to your work and communication
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commercially aware
