We are currently partnering with a mid-sized European bank who are looking to hire a Financial & Regulatory Reporting candidate into their team - this will be on an initial 1-year Fixed Term basis.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner
Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
Assist in audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
Support tax preparation and filing requirements in collaboration with the tax team
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

Role requirements

Minimum of 8 years experience in finance or accounting roles, within Banking
Strong background in financial reporting and regulatory reporting
Proficient in month-end close and financial statement preparation
Willing and able to commit to a 1-year fixed term contract (with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment, though not guaranteed)
