This is a rare opportunity to join a respected energy firm with a growing presence in Singapore. As part of its expansion, the company is creating a new Finance Transformation Analyst role within its Finance & Accounting Department.

The role offers broad exposure to both operational and strategic aspects of finance, providing the chance to lead process improvements, optimize workflows, and contribute to cross-border projects within a stable and well-established energy group.

Responsibilities

You will lead finance transformation projects, leveraging your expertise to improve processes across accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. The role involves designing and implementing initiatives such as accelerating account close schedules, enhancing segmented profit analysis, finance system enhancement and improving budgeting accuracy. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide insightful analysis, drive operational improvements, and ensure the finance function is agile, efficient, and ready for evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, ideally within petroleum trading or the broader energy sector. Proven experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiency is essential. Strong technical skills in financial systems, combined with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, are required. You should be collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
