About the Role
An established asset management firm is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to support its finance and investment teams in evaluating and executing private equity transactions. This role offers exposure to deal structuring, capital markets instruments, and collaboration with portfolio companies. The position reports directly to the finance leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the end-to-end process for evaluating, structuring, and executing private equity investments
- Build and maintain financial models, perform valuations, and conduct scenario analysis to support investment decisions
- Assess and structure a variety of capital instruments such as convertibles, preference shares, and hybrid securities
- Conduct financial due diligence, including analysis of financial statements and operational metrics
- Prepare investment documentation including internal memos, board materials, and transaction summaries
- Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic and financial initiatives to ensure alignment with investment goals
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA, ACCA) are advantageous
- 58 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory
- Solid understanding of M&A processes, deal structuring, and capital market instruments
- Strong foundation in accounting and hands-on experience in financial reporting or due diligence
- Proven ability to manage projects and solve problems in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
