Job Description
Our client is a private markets investment firm seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Finance to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting and group consolidation across its management company, General Partner (GP) and related entities.
This position combines corporate finance leadership with private equity fund accounting exposure, offering broad involvement in financial management, fund operations and investment reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the management company, GP and related corporate entities.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing, statutory financial statements and management reporting.
- Lead financial consolidation and group reporting across multiple entities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and expense management.
- Collaborate with internal teams on private equity fund accounting and investment valuations.
- Support oversight of fund cash flows, capital calls, distributions and investor reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations and applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers and professional service providers.
- Strengthen financial controls, accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and support other accounting and finance initiatives as required.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience within asset management, particularly private equity, venture capital or private credit.
- Strong experience in both corporate accounting and private equity fund accounting.
- Proven expertise in financial consolidation, group reporting and statutory accounts.
- Familiarity with fund accounting, investment valuations and fund-related reporting.
- CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
