Finance Operations Manager

Our client is a well-established semiconductor company with regional presence. As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a capable and hands-on Finance Operations Manager to join its finance team based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a key leadership role with a strong focus on operational finance of the group. You will oversee end-to-end finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust cost control, and strong alignment between finance and business functions. Partnering closely with the group, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams, you will drive financial performance through effective project costing, inventory and manufacturing cost management, and regional process oversight. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, delivering insights that directly support business decisions. In addition to that, you are responsible in managing cash flow, treasury operations, and banking relationships, including FX exposure and payment controls. You will lead the implementation of Oracle Financial and Costing modules to ensure seamless system integration with operational and sales processes.

Key Requirements

You hold a degree in Accountancy and are professionally qualified (CPA or CA). You bring at least 8 years of relevant experience, including a Big 4 audit background, strong exposure to Malaysia entities, and proven leadership in operational finance roles. Frequent travel and an initial on-site presence in Malaysia will be required during the first few months to support local operations and ensure a smooth transition. You have deep technical knowledge in financial operations, cost accounting, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Strong analytical capabilities, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business functions are essential. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are comfortable driving improvements in both finance and operations.
