Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.

2. Accounting and Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

3. Treasury and Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to support trade finance and other banking needs.

4. Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional offices to align financial strategies with business goals.

6. Audit and Risk Management:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.

7. Strategic Contributions:

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

2. Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS) and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

3. Industry Experience:

  • Prior experience in Commodities trading company is a MUST.

4. Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
