Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning, ensuring that we utilise our capital and resources prudently. You will be responsible for developing and directing the company's financial policies and capabilities.

With broad-based knowledge in accounting, financial and business principles, you will play a crucial role to maintain our company's financial health and guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.

Job Description

1. Provide strategic recommendation and consultation to the management including financial analysis on projects, cost identification and allocation.

2. Develop and provide direction for all corporate financial functions so that transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations and standards.

3.Oversee credit control, cash flow, investment management, tax, insurance, treasury, external audit, budgeting and forecasting, and foreign exchange.

4.Analyse the company's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast short, medium, and long-term cash flow positions.

5.Present financial reports, analysis and recommendations to Management and stakeholders in the meetings.

6.Advise management on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.

7.Ensure that the company's financial strategy is sound, and implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines.

8.Lead, direct, evaluate and develop finance team members to ensure the organization's accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently, and according to relevant regulations, laws and standards.

9. Provide technical expertise and advise on financial issues, to management to develop and drive revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

1. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

2. Meticulous and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

3. Good interpersonal & negotiation skills

4. Conversant in both English and Mandarin

5. Proven track record and leadership qualities

6. Proficient in Navision system and accounting software.

Education, Experience & Training

1. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or its equivalent qualifications

2. Minimum 8 years relevant work experience, with 3 years managerial responsibilities in SME food manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry

3. Good knowledge of SFRS
