Will oversee financial operations in Singapore and another regional market, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and group requirements. The role supports strategic financial planning, manages day-to-day accounting activities, and drives continuous improvement in financial controls, processes, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, inventory, expenses, fixed assets, treasury, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and review timely financial and management reports such as monthly P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis including variance, trend, and cost centre analysis to support business decisions and improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, group accounting standards, and statutory and regulatory requirements in Singapore and another regional market.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, bankers, insurance brokers, and company secretarial service providers on audits, tax filings, regulatory submissions, insurance renewals, and corporate filings.
- Strengthen financial governance by reviewing and enhancing internal controls, SOPs, and risk management practices.
- Provide guidance to the finance team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align financial processes with business objectives.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as required.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting managerial role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
