Scope of Responsibilities
- Oversee financial close, preparation of accounts, statutory reporting, and audits for the regional office in Singapore and all subsidiaries, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Drive process improvement, continuous enhancement, standardization, and automation of reporting and finance processes.
- Implement robust internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including audit and tax regulations.
- Supervise accounting operations, encompassing payables, receivables, billing, procurement, treasury, taxation, and payroll.
- Monitor finance metrics to assess productivity and efficiency of finance functions, ensuring value delivery to business partners and key stakeholders.
- Foster business partnering and collaboration with Growth, Commercial, Operations, and other teams to enhance financial performance.
- Manage and provide coaching to team members, with a strong emphasis on execution, accuracy, and business partnering.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other relevant external parties for the entity.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned within Finance-related areas.
Minimum requirement
- Possess a minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance leadership capacity overseeing a team of 8 or more individuals.
- Hold a degree in Accountancy.
- Be a CPA / CA / ACCA qualified professional.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach to finance and accounting, coupled with strategic and creative thinking, and a proactive demeanor.
- Exhibit experience in mentoring small teams and spearheading finance digital transformation within a rapidly expanding organization.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
- Display strong logical and analytical capabilities, complemented by excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
