About the Role

At Galatek Singapore, we're building the next generation of advanced semiconductor equipment and we're looking for a Senior Finance Specialist who will handle the comprehensive financial management for a company's overseas operations, particularly in Singapore, with oversight of branches in Germany and the US. The position involves daily accounting tasks, including full-set accounting for the Singapore office, expense review, and tax filing. A key part of the job is managing and monitoring bank accounts and fund flow across international subsidiaries. The specialist will also be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting internal and external audits. The role acts as a financial hub, coordinating with overseas subsidiaries and providing financial analysis to support management decisions.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the full set of accounts for the Singapore company, including expense review, reconciliation of accounts receivable/payable, fixed asset accounting, and tax filing.
  • Responsible for reviewing accounts of overseas companies (e.g., in Germany and the U.S.) to ensure financial data accurately reflects the company's operational status and complies with local standards.
  • Supervise tax filing for subsidiaries.
  • Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor bank accounts and fund flow of overseas companies to ensure reasonable allocation of funds among accounts.
  • Supervise daily bank reconciliation and perform regular cash counts to ensure fund security and liquidity.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate communication between local audit firms and tax authorities.
  • Maintain financial records (vouchers, contracts, statements, etc.) to ensure compliance with local regulations and group policies.
  • Act as a financial hub to coordinate budget, funds, and reporting between overseas subsidiaries and headquarters.
  • Provide basic financial data analysis to support management decisions (e.g., budget execution variances, fund forecasting).

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a full-set accounting role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company with export business is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Singaporean financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with financial software (e.g., UFIDA, Kingdee) and Office tools (Excel functions, PPT, etc.).
  • Strong risk awareness, cross-departmental collaboration skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to accept short-term business trips or flexible working hours.
  • Experience in the gaming, internet, or semiconductor industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tax policies of multiple countries (e.g., Germany, U.S., Malaysia).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for working with counterparts and vendors in the region).
