Job Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Lead the overall finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, audit, and compliance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Drive annual budgeting processes, forecasting activities, and business performance analysis.
• Strengthen governance frameworks, internal controls, risk management, and financial compliance practices.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and capital allocation initiatives.
• Lead finance transformation projects, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements to improve business intelligence capabilities.
• Develop and mentor the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional accounting qualifications advantageous.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including controllership or senior finance management responsibilities.
• Strong expertise across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, taxation, audit, and corporate governance.
• Proven track record of business partnering with senior management and influencing strategic decisions.
• Experience driving finance transformation, process improvements, automation, or ERP-related initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Experience within business services, environmental services, facilities management, engineering services, logistics, field services, multi-site operations, or similarly complex operational environments would be highly regarded.
• Comfortable operating within entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, or rapidly evolving organisations.
