Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for a senior finance professional with strong accounting experience in the payment and crypto industries to support end-to-end finance operations. This role will be responsible for daily accounting, monthly closing, regulatory and tax matters, including GST and transfer pricing, as well as process improvement and automation. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) Financial Accounting, Reporting & Business Operations
- Manage full-set accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Handle daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and ledger management
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with auditors and external accountants on statutory audit and financial statements
- Manage accounting and reporting for payment- and crypto-related business activities and operational flows
- Review transaction flows and assess accounting implications for new products and business arrangements
2) Regulatory, Tax & Controls
- Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
- Prepare and manage tax filings, including corporate tax and GST
- Handle transfer pricing and intercompany matters, including documentation and coordination with external advisors
- Maintain strong financial controls, documentation, and audit-ready processes
3) Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
- Drive finance process improvement and automation initiatives
- Support system enhancement and workflow optimisation
- Partner closely with business, operations, compliance, legal, and product teams on finance-related matters
- Provide clear finance guidance and ensure effective cross-functional communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred
- 610+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in payment, crypto, fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Solid experience in closing, audit, tax, GST, and regulatory matters
- Familiarity with transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, and finance automation is preferred
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
